Returns and Exchanges

Contact 222 Handspun within: 14 days of delivery

Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery

We don't accept order cancellations, but please contact 222 Handspun if you have any problems with your order.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • Digital downloads

Returns and Exchange Details

Items can be exchanged for similar items of the same price or for store credit within 30 days of purchase minus the shipping costs.


The buyer must pay for the order within 24 hours of checking out or the order will be canceled automatically and without notice. Orders will not be shipped until payment has cleared. In accordance with protection policies, items ship to the PayPal/payment address at the time of checkout. Providing the correct shipping address is the responsibility of the buyer and the buyer will pay any fees associated with recovering and reshipping lost orders due to an incorrect address and/or contact information. Please note that due to the unique nature of our products, some orders may not be able to be re-fulfilled and the buyer will be responsible for any losses due to lost shipments if they provide an incorrect address. It is for this reason that orders will be shipped with postal insurance which the buyer must pay for.

Buyers are responsible for any and all duties, taxes, fees, and customs charges that may be incurred.


Domestic shipping is done on business days (non-holidays) usually within 2-3 days of the order. If you need expedited shipping, please contact 222 Handspun prior to purchase for an estimate. Some orders take longer to process. 222 Handspun will communicate any delays longer than 5 days post-order.

Note: shipping and delivery times are an approximation, not a guarantee.

Shipping is estimated at the time of order. When there is a large difference in actual fees, any overages may be refunded to the payment method at the time of order. You may contact the shop prior to ordering to receive an accurate shipping estimate.

Due to prior postal non-delivery issues, most orders will be shipped with insurance unless otherwise noted. The buyer is responsible for any shipping insurance and delivery confirmation fees.

In accordance with buyer protection policies, items ship to the PayPal address at time of checkout.

Orders totaling under 13 ounces are usually shipped USPS First Class Mail in our signature hot pink mailers. Additional fees may be incurred for items weighing over 13 ounces or for insurance/proof of delivery or other services. Please ask before checkout and we will provide a more accurate shipping estimate.

International shipping does not include tracking or delivery confirmation, and isn’t required to arrive in a certain time frame by USPS. 222 Handspun will only ship internationally using insurance. The buyer is responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs incurred. Please be aware that these fees can be significant and are based on the value of the shipment.

International shipments are ineligible for claims to be filed with the USPS.

Missing Shipments

If an item is not delivered by the postal carrier or damaged in transit, the buyer must contact 222 Handspun within 3 days of the postal delivery estimate date in the tracking and 222 Handspun will initiate a claim with the postal carrier.

222 Handspun is not responsible for any orders lost, stolen, damaged, or confirmed as delivered once they have been received by the postal carrier or for orders where an incorrect shipping address was provided by the buyer. We cannot replace or issue refunds or credits for any lost or damaged packages. Any claims must be resolved through the postal carrier insurance.

222 Handspun loves trees so items are occasionally packaged with recycled materials. If you would like to request special or gift packaging, please contact 222 Handspun for options prior to checkout.

PLEASE NOTE: All yarns and dye batches are created by hand, so no two items are identical. Please allow for slight variances from what is shown in the photos.
